The decision was taken today after an emergency cabinet meeting. The CM said tweeted about this announcing the information. The cabinet has decided to give the amount to anyone from medical staff, sanitation workers or nurses from  both private and government hospitals, in case of any mishappening. As number of corona virus cases increased in Maharashtra, CM Thackrey announced a state wide lockdown

The total number of corona infected people in India has crossed the 300 mark, Maharashtra bearing the highest number of cases. There are 74 reported cases from Maharashtra till now. Considering the situation and to control the spread, chief minister Uddhav Thackeray has imposed section 144 of CrPC till 31st March in the state starting tomorrow. The chief minister has asked the people to continue with the 'janta curfew' till tomorrow morning. All intercity bus services will be stopped .BEST buses will run through the city for people involved in essential services. Thackeray has told that no essential supplies will be stopped and banks and share markets will  be open, as the state is in a critical phase of the pandemic the administration had left with no choice. Amid corona outbreak, Kamalnath resigns as chief minister of Madhya Pradesh

On  17 December 2018 Kamalnath had taken oath as the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh and after a tenure of almost 15 months, he has resigned from the top post. The resignation letter was sent to the governor before the floor test after the supreme court had asked the speaker of the house to have the floor test done on the same day. Kamalnath offered the resignation before the floor test as he could not score the numbers required to save his government.  Going by the current in the political streets of the state, it was already being speculated, after Scindia left the Congress party on 9th March along with the news that he has support of some other 20 MLAs of the party.After the resgnaton, Kamalnath has thanked the people of the state and have said that he will keep working for them. Just two days back President Ramnath Kovind announced former CJI Ranjan Gogoi's nomination for Rajya Sabha. Since then ts been in the news for all the wrong reasons. President Kovind nominated Former CJI Ranjan Gogoi to Rajyasabha

Former CJI Ranjan Gogoi has been nominated to Rajya Sabha by President Ramnath Kovind. Mr. Gogoi had retired from the post in last November after completing his tenure as Chief Justice of India. The vacancy was created at the end of february month after the retirement of K.T.S Tulsi. In his tenure of over 13 months, CJI has been a part of many important verdicts, including Rafale deal and Sabarimala case, Ayodhya Mandir being the most crucial among them. Mr. Gogoi headed the five judges bench which gave the verdict in ayodhya conflict ruling in favour of Ram Mandir. Prime Minster Narendra Modi had praised the judiciary for working in the righteously.
